Four members of the "Baywalk Bodies" group of starlets arrived in Manila in November 2006 after being held for 19 days in a detention center in Guam, DZMM reported. Jeanette Joaquin, Clarissa Mercado, Luxx Laural and Palmolive Palma were swarmed by media members upon their arrival at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport. Talent manager Lito de Guzman said the four were planning to file illegal detention charges against Guam immigration officials. The women told reporters that the immigration agents who arrested them did not have warrants. They were arrested at the hotel were they were billeted, they added. |
